She came to Frovo 75 years ago.
when she was ten years of age. hav-
ing crossed the plains with ox-teams
In her father's, John Carter, com-
pany. Since coming to Utah, she
had lived continuously In Frovo and
vicinity. Mrs. Haws has done
much good among the ulck and was
well known and loved by nil who
Surviving her are two children.

Provo; eight grandchildren and
eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held In
the Provo Third ward chapel Thurs-
day afternoon at 1 o'clock. Friends
may view the -body at the family
home in Cartcrville prior to the
funeral. Interment will he In the
Frovo city cemetery"
